The Instagram page of ‘Stop Vizag Data Centres’  was restricted in India by Meta and a notice was issued that the action was pursuant to legal requirements under the Information Technology Act.

Prior to this, nine posts were also restricted.

The Stop Vizag Data Centres campaign had garnered more than 56 lakh views and 11,800 followers in two months and had raised issues about the AI centres in Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Content critical of the data centres had been taken down.
