Internet Control
The Haryana government on Monday extended the shutdown of mobile internet services and bulk short messaging service (SMS) in seven Haryana districts for another 24 hours until February 20 midnight because of the ‘Delhi Chalo’ call given by farmers’ organizations.
The districts that are being affected by the shutdown of the internet are Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Sirsa.
According to an order, voice calls, internet services offered by broadband and lease lines, and individual short message texts are immune from the closure.
