There is only about a week for India’s costliest film 2.0 to hit the screens. 2.0, directed by Shankar, recently cleared the censors with UA certificate. The sci-fi venture is the shortest film in Shankar’s career, which is 2 hours and28 minutes in length, according to reports. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) hasn’t cut any scenes from the film.

However, they have asked the makers to mute or beep many words in the film. A report published in a Tamil daily has listed the words, which are going to be muted from the film. Puttrunoi (Cancer), Karusidhaivu (miscarriage), Aanmai kuraivu (impotence), Lanjam (corruption), and 45 Varudam (45 years) are the words that are going to be censored from the film. It is not clear why the words are considered problematic by the CBFC board.
