Journalists roughed up in Junagadh

This season has generated a fair share of poll violence in West Bengal, but in Gujarat ? And that too, for a temple trust election!
On Sunday, May 12,2019 , police roughed up cameraperson Vipul Boricha of Sandesh TV when journalists went to cover elections to the Swami Narayan Temple Trust in Junagadh, Gujarat. Police in plainclothes even beat up Boricha when he resisted the shoving. See the video here:

Angry journalists later staged a dharna outside the office of the Superintendent of Police, Junagadh. They decided to literally bed down to get the administration to take action against police personnel responsible for the attack.
