Attacks – Journalists

Journalist Mahadev Kumar Das of Domchanch area of ​​the district was humiliated  and assaulted by local land mafia.  He was reporting against them for a land issue which belongs to government .  After this incident he informed by  giving an application to  the concerned Navalshahi police station, but  no action has been taken so far.

After this incident on friday, Mahadev’s condition became serious and he was admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. It is said that he is  correspondent of  Dainik Nav Pradesh a social media news portal  and was covering news  against local  land mafia who were capturing  government land during his reporting  some people from the village beat him badly .

Further he said he was humiliated and assaulted . He filed an application in Navalshahi police station regarding the matter but no action was taken so far .
