Poet Kureepuzha Sreekumar was attacked allegedly by RSS workers at Kottukkal, near Kadackal, here late Monday evening. He was returning after addressing a cultural meeting at a local library when a group of RSS workers blocked his car, threatened him, and showered abuses on him. In his speech, Mr. Sreekumar had come down heavily on the Hindutva forces over their stand in the Vadayambady ‘caste wall’ controversy.
