Social media accounts of Hindutvawatch, the group that monitors hate speech by the Hindu far right, were suspended after a post about a meeting by a far-right speaker inciting violence against Muslims. The speaker had urged Hindus to beat secular people instead of “Abdul friends”. He blamed Muslims for communal violence in Nagpur and Nashik and demanded a social and economic boycott, claiming money given to Muslims is used against Hindus, continued demonising Muslims and repeated the call for an economic boycott.
