Tanveer Warsi, a local journalist who also associated with NDTV and ANI from Rajgarh District of Madhya Pradesh has been booked under a case of medical negligence alleging him of being the part of a private hospital management after he continuously reported the inactions of government authorities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As stated in the FIR, The CHL MD Hospital and Trauma Centre is permitted to treat OPD patients whereas the ICU patients are being treated under ill facilities. The hospital is alleged to have no records of newborns and of irresponsible behaviour due to which there have been deaths of 4-5 children at the time of delivery. All these allegations constitute a violation of the M.P Medical Counsel Act.

The FIR has been filed at Rajgarh police station against Tanveer Warsi and 21 others under section 177,186,269,188,304,336,369,417,34 and 3 others. A video of Tanveer Warsi went viral on social media in which he claims that the cases are being framed against him because of his unbiased reporting. Tanveer denies being a part of the hospital in any way.
